About

Collects the currently trending searches from Google Trends for one or more countries, using the official Trends RSS feed (structured XML — no HTML guessing, no key needed).

Each trend item includes the search query, approximate search-traffic figure (both the raw "200K+" label and a parsed number), when it started trending (ISO date), a representative picture with its source, and the news articles Google associates with the trend (headline, URL, publisher, image).

Honest scope note: Google's interest-over-time and related-queries widget APIs sit behind a session-token + cookie handshake that requires a real browser session, so this scraper deliberately covers the trending searches surface — the part Google exposes publicly and stably via RSS. Use it for real-time trend monitoring, content ideation and news-jacking alerts; run it on a schedule to build a history of what trended when.

Supports any Google Trends country code (US, GB, DE, IN, JP, BR, …).
