Queries the GDELT Project's DOC 2.0 API — a free, key-less index of worldwide online news monitored in 65+ languages, updated every 15 minutes. Structured source: official JSON API (no HTML guessing).

For each matching article you get the title, URL (+ mobile URL when known), publisher domain, source country, article language, the ISO timestamp GDELT first saw it, and the social-sharing image.

Query power tools (put them right in the query, or use the dedicated inputs):

  • Phrases & boolean"climate change", (flood OR wildfire).
  • Tone filter — surface only negative or positive coverage (e.g. < -5 = clearly negative articles).
  • Timespan — how far back to search: 1d, 1w, 3m… (API max ~3 months for full-text search).
  • Country / language — restrict to a source country (FIPS code or name, e.g. germany) or article language (e.g. spanish).

Great for international media monitoring, crisis tracking and cross-language coverage comparison.
